01. Terms of Service
By using Taplo, you agree to these terms. Our platform facilitates digital loyalty stamps and rewards for cafes in Bali. Simple as that.
Financial Clarity
Taplo does not process monetary transactions between customers and merchants. All financial exchanges happen through your chosen payment method directly at the cafe. Taplo records your visits and rewards, nothing more.
- Eligibility: Users must be 18 years of age or have legal guardian consent to participate.
- Reward Rules: Individual cafes define their own stamp thresholds and reward types. Taplo provides the platform, not the liability.
- Fair Use: Any attempt to manipulate stamp counts or QR codes results in immediate account suspension.
02. Privacy Policy
Privacy isn't a feature — it's our foundation. We treat your data with the same care you'd expect from a trusted local spot.
We never sell your data to third-party brokers. Your visit history is shared only with the specific cafes you choose to visit, so they can provide you a better experience.

Identity Data
Your name and email, used for loyalty pass synchronization.
Visit Timestamps
When you visited a cafe, to validate stamp eligibility.
Location Data
Used only to suggest nearby participating cafes.
Device Info
Basic technical data to ensure your pass works smoothly.
04. The Non-Payment Clause
"Taplo is a communication and ledger layer. We do not hold, move, or store fiat currency or digital assets."
While our interface may feel modern and polished, our platform does not connect to banking systems or payment rails. All digital stamps hold no cash value outside each cafe's specific rewards program, and cannot be redeemed for money through Taplo.
Merchants fund their own rewards — when you earn a free coffee, that's a gift from your cafe, not from Taplo. This keeps us outside payment regulations and keeps things simple for everyone.
